Rico Nasty Gets Support From Megan Thee Stallion, Kehlani & More After Playboi Carti Tour Confession

Rico Nasty hasn’t been shy about expressing her displeasure performing on Playboi Carti’s King Vamp Tour. From calling out fans for booing her to jumping in the crowd to defend herself from an assault, the outspoken rapper has endured a ridiculous amount of abuse from fans, while others are hoping Playboi Carti calls for an end to her harassment.

After Saturday night’s (November 27) tour stop, Rico reached a breaking point and vented in multiple since-deleted Twitter posts, writing, “I dead ass need at least two hours out of each day. To just cry. Crazy how I wanted a tour bus my whole life and now I just be on the tour bus crying myself to sleep every night. I wish I was dead just as much as y’all do trust me.”

The tour itself has had controversy outside of fan treatment of Rico. A show in Houston was canceled after fans broke down barricades and caused a police presence to be called to the scene.

Despite the turmoil, some of Rico Nasty’s peers have stepped up to voice their support for her. Among them, Kehlani, who vouched for her talent by tweeting on Saturday, “Rico is a gem of an artist and person, i hope you know how epic and special you are @Rico_nastyy!!!!!!!!”

Megan Thee Stallion also took time out of her day on Sunday (November 28) to wish Rico Nasty well and proclaimed her to be a “beautiful strong ass amazing ass artist/woman.”

    1. She should forego the rest of the tour and take time off, steady herself. If you’re not clicking with the fans and Carti isn’t vocal about them respecting you, whatever money she make isn’t worth the impact on her mental health. You tried, just go home.

    2. Has she ever considered the fact that she just sucks? It’s not personal. Nobody is feeling it. *shrugs*
I am a self-proclined hip hop head and I thought Rico nasty was a dude just based off the name I’ve never heard of her in a legitimate way. Just her being featured in songs I’ve heard and apparently she was forgettable.

      1. Nah, it’s personal tastes, but folks should be respectful to just ignore what they don’t care about. Like it’s just disrespectful and downright hateful at this point to be attacking a woman just trying to do her opening song. Attacking her wasn’t gonna make Carti perform sooner, back in the day nobody let their opener be so disrespected without telling them to grow up.

      2. Rico Nasty’s music is amazing, definitely does NOT “suck”. For a self-proclined hip hop head, whatever the fuck that is, have some good taste. Or manners at least.
