Rapsody Announces A Black Woman Created This Tour

Rapsody has been on a steady tour grind since dropping the masterful EVE album, her follow-up to 2017’s Laila’s Wisdom.

On the heels of a sizable run with Big K.R.I.T. and special guest Domani Harris, the Grammy Award-nominated MC has announced yet another tour dubbed A Black Woman Created This Tour.

She made the announcement on Wednesday (December 4) with an Instagram video.

“A BLACK WOMAN CREATED THIS TOUR,” the caption reads. “All dates. Can’t wait to see you. Link to tix in bio.”

Kicking off on February 4, 2020 in Philadelphia, the tour boasts 25 dates all across North America. It wraps up on March 13 in Raleigh, North Carolina.

Despite the critical acclaim EVE received from countless publications, including a perfect 5.0 rating from HipHopDX, the 16-track project was snubbed by the Grammy Awards.

Rap expressed she was “frustrated…beyond” by the perceived oversight in an Instagram post earlier this month.

But, as they say, the show must go on.

    1. Listen, I’m all for all humans having dignity, and pride in their race/heritage… But I’m not on board with the whole “I’m a QUEEN” crap lol. Yes, good for you, you have a great life, and make great music. It’s just cheesy to me at this point, and seems played out. It’s that fake woke kinda shit J Cole rap Era made popular.
