Quavo has created a new hoodie in tribute to his relative and former collaborator, TakeOff, and plans to donate all proceeds to the rapper’s foundation.

On Friday (April 21), the Atlanta rap star took to Instagram to announce his collaboration with the Legends brand to launch the “Rocket Fairfax Hoodie,” which retails for $140.

Quavo also announced that he would donate all proceeds to TakeOff’s Rocket Foundation, which was established shortly after his death. The Migos rapper was shot and killed in Houston in 2022. He was 28 years old.

“STRONGEST LINK IN THE WORLD #OBFIL @legends limited edition Rocket Hoodie,” Quavo captioned his post. “All proceeds benefiting The Rocket Foundation. Takeoff Forever. Link In Bio.”

The rapper also plans to take his support a step further, with his fifth annual Huncho Day, scheduled for April 29. All money raised for the charity football game will be donated to the Rocket Foundation.

Huncho Day 2023 is expected to feature appearances by Gucci Mane, 2 Chainz, and several NFL players.

In recent days, Quavo hasn’t been the only one paying homage to the late rapper. Last week, Offset debuted his latest tattoo covering his entire back, featuring TakeOff’s face.

Offset’s new tattoo serves as a reminder of his late relative’s legacy with Migos — which consists of him and his cousins, Quavo, and TakeOff — with whom he achieved massive fame and commercial success. “Love you 4L & after,” he captioned the post.

Earlier this year, Rich The Kid also paid homage to TakeOff’s memory by permanently inking the rapper’s name into his skin.

In January, Rich showed off his new tat, as he was getting it done, with TakeOff’s name spanning the width of his hand. The two rappers had been close and most recently released a collaboration named “Crypto” in March of last year.

However, Rich recently took his love for TakeOff a step further this year, commemorating his life with an iced out diamond pendant featuring photos of the late rapper.

The “Plug Walk” artist showed off his new pendant featuring two photos of the Atlanta rapper on his Instagram story earlier this week.
