Rich The Kid has decided to commemorate TakeOff’s memory with an iced out diamond pendant that features photos of the late rapper.

On Tuesday (April 11), Rich took to his Instagram story to show off his new pendant featuring two photos of the Atlanta rapper.

The pendant presumably represents TakeOff’s legacy with Migos — which consists of him, his uncle, Quavo, and Offset, who is Quavo’s cousin — with whom he achieved massive fame and commercial success.

However, the rapper’s life was cut short after he was shot and killed in Houston in 2022. He was 28 years old.

It’s not the first time Rich The Kid has paid homage to the memory of his fallen friend. Earlier this year, he decided to immortalize TakeOff’s name in ink.

In other Rick The Kid news, the rapper teamed up with IDK last month for their first collaboration, “850 (We On Top).”

The BLWYRMND and SB Paolo co-produced track gave the Maryland native space to reflect on his trapping ways and the turbulent journey his rap career has taken him around the globe as he incorporates Los Angeles, Japan, France and Spain into his rhymes.

Prior to the music video crossing the finish line, which was self-directed by IDK, a combination of the Ghana and Sierra Leone flags serve as the background to a sobering closing message about the transatlantic slave trade and his Free Coast world.

“Often times African-Americans are questioned and even ridiculed for not understanding their history… Well the effects of Trans-Atlantic slavery and lack of in-depth teaching in the American school systems do not make learning as easy as one would expect,” the image reads.

“Free Coast is a world created to bring awareness to Cape Coast, Ghana (Where slaves were taken from West Africa to America) and Freetown, Sierra Leone (Where slaves were freed) through combining both flags and their historic components to make one movement.”
