Pusha T‘s wife Virginia Williams set the internet ablaze this week after sharing what the hardest part of dating a celebrity has been for her.
During a Q&A session on her Instagram Stories on Tuesday (April 18), Mrs. Push was asked: “Was it hard dating a celebrity in the beginning? How do you handle it now?”

In her answer, she revealed it was the fact she doesn’t fit the traditional mold of rapper wives, but that she feels much more secure about it now.
“If I’m being honest, INITIALLY the only thing hard about it was being ok with being the oddball in the room…not looking like a ‘rapper girlfriend/wife,’ Williams said. “I use to feel awkward amongst the women who had a fake ass, bodycon dress and cake face, but for a while now I’ve thought I’m way cooler [shrug emoji]”
Her response sparked a debate online, as some felt it was a dig at the women who have BBLs and wear a lot of makeup — while others felt like she was simply speaking to her own personal experience.
“The cake face/BBL gang are the only people who are upset,” read one comment, while another said: “I don’t think she meant any harm. Look around, the women who made her feel odd are typically the ones who get wifed up by athletes or rappers. The industry pushing “man made bodies” It’s a true observation [shrug emoji] but her husband seen something different in her which is why she’s in her position.”
Neither Virginia nor Pusha T have commented on the debate as of press time.
The Virginia rapper said “I do” to his longtime love on July 21, 2018 at a star-studded wedding in Virginia Beach. The date of 7/21 is significant for the couple. Speaking to Brides, Virginia Williams explained why it meant so much to the two of them.

“For whatever reason I see the number 721 almost everyday in crazy places,” she said. “On 7/21/16 Terrence had me believing he was in LA, but popped up at our home in Bethesda. He told me to meet him on our rooftop terrace…when I did he was on one knee and asked me to marry him at 7:21 pm! I said yes!”
