Pusha T Sets Young Thug Straight While Suggesting Drake’s A Snitch

Young Thug was apparently fuming after he realized Pusha T dissed Drake on an unreleased Pop Smoke song called “Paranoia” featuring Thugger, Gunna and King Push. On Monday night (July 6), the Jeffery mastermind said he didn’t respect Push’s verse and concluded “this rapper shit so gay” following the discovery.

But it didn’t take long for Push to fire back. On Tuesday morning (July 7), the Clipse MC hit up his Instagram Stories and attempted to set Thugger straight, all while suggesting Drake is a snitch.

“Aye @youngthug couple things: Don’t feel bad. NOBODY knew what the verse was abt. 1. The label heads that stopped it didn’t even know. They ONLY ASSUME because HE TOLD them! The same way HE TOLD abt the Ross ‘Maybach 6’ verse. And if HE’LL TELL record executives abt rap verses, God only knows what else HE’LL TELL! I don’t deal in Police Work, Police Rappers or Police Niggas!!

“2. @youngthug you were the last verse added to the song and that’s ONLY because I requested YOU!! 3. And most important @youngthug, just so we are clear…I would NEVER look or need YOUR respect for what it is I bring to this rap game!!”

Push also tagged Pop’s manager Steven Victor, ordering him to remove his verse.

“@stevenvictor I demand you take me off the deluxe @realpopsmoke album to avoid any confusion that may take away from this amazing body of work!” he wrote. “From rappers crying to record execs to blatant label censorship, I don’t ride with none of it … but love every bit of it!! Now y’all run along and be gangsters, but u leave the devil alone!”

Of course, Drake and Push have a murky past. In 2018, a war of words popped off after Pusha dissed the 6 God on the DAYTONA track “Infrared.” From there, the Toronto superstar returned fire with “Duppy Freestyle” and dragged Push’s then-fiancée Virginia Williams into it.

Now with the gloves off, Push clearly felt comfortable enough to expose Drake’s “secret son” with “The Story Of Adidon,” putting an abrupt end to the back-and-forth. Drake has since discussed the track many times and stated he wasn’t interested in ending his beef with Pusha during an interview with Rap Radar last December. At the same time, he conceded Push nabbed the crown.

“I have no desire to mend anything with that person,” he said. “That situation just went where it went, and there is no turning back. It’s not like those other situations that you mention. I’ll say this: I tip my hat to the chess move.”

He added, “I mean, it was a genius play in the game of chess and warranted my first quote-unquote, you know, loss in the competitive sport of rapping — by choice, obviously, because I bowed out after realizing that the gap between us allowed him to drop a bomb on the world.

“I sleep well at night knowing I didn’t get out-barred. It was just, you know, he told the world that the biggest artist at the time has a kid that he hasn’t told you about.”

    1. This nigga whole existence right now is based off of dissing Drake… you take that away and the fake kingpin talk and he got nothing

      1. You sound stupid. Your fav Singer MC lost. End of story. Ya’ll keep pushing Push, you will regret it again

      2. You can say that about anyone though. If you take away the singing, and the females, and all that’s left of Drake is his femboi fans, like you.

      3. He has nothing? He’s got respect from his rap peers, he’s got longevity, he’s got a solid discography with CDs you can listen to all the way through without having to skip over 7 cliche and corny R&B songs, and he’s on one of the best labels in hip hop… Drake has popularity and a few good verses. That’s it.

        1. Not only is he on one of the best labels but he’s the CEO too. I assume anybody that talks about push like he’s nobody and says he’s fabricating his past was probably born in the past 20 years and has no clue what they are talking about. I grew up in the same area of Virginia and his reputation spoke for its self well before he became a famous rapper. His managers are doing life in prison And his brother malice got so shook that he found God like people do when they are about to go to prison for the rest of their life. Most rappers are fake. However that’s not the case here and you’re an idiot and a puppet if you try to say otherwise without any proof whatsoever.

      4. You must be about 12. People heard of Push back when Drake was pretending to be disabled on a soap.

    2. Young thug said this rapper shit is gay but yet he must of forgot he wore a dress, pearl necklace (both types of pearl necklaces) , lace tops, a purse and other types of clothing only females wear. Thug should be ashamed he got ethered by reply post.

    3. Funny how Young thug is now mad at Pusha for dissing drake but hasn’t responded to Drake dissing kid cudi’s mental health, doing blackface, mentioning Pusha’s then fiancé on Duppy freestyle, and the fact that drake still take shots at Pusha and Kanye. Drake can’t be a bully and then get mad that someone decides to bully him

      1. Its not bout him “bullying” Drake, its because he’s on the song and won’t cosign, if Thug was bias he wouldn’t of even did the song with Push. Now if Push would’ve dissed Wayne, Thug would’ve kept it cause thats a common enemy.

        1. I think I didn’t explain the bullying enough. I said that because once again, like I said before, no one bats an eye when drake sub disses like on his omerta song and other songs he’s released after the story of Adidon. You cant be sub dissing people and not expect clapback

          1. You’re making an entirely different point. Thug was indifferent to the situation. To throw him on a diss song without informing him is sneaky and weird. I’m a fan of all 3 artists, but Push was wrong here

            1. But then as smart as people say this guy is, you can’t tell me he had no idea that Pusha might throw disses especially since drake has been doing it too even after The story of Adidon. In fact, they’ve been doing so for over a decade now. If you think Young Thug would’ve told Drake the same thing if he was on the song instead, I HOPE but highly doubt it.

      2. He wasn’t the bully though.. you are biased because of your hate for Drake. Drake is in a different league than Push. Kid Cudi mental health? Kid Cudi was going HAM on Drake and then people Flipped the switch when Drake responded. Cudi don’t get a free pass because of his mental state. He made his choices. Do your homework my guy. Don’t be biased. Stick to facts.

        1. I think you’re misunderstanding. I’m not sayzing that he shouldn’t diss kid cudi. Hip hop is competive. My point was that Drake dissed Kid Cudi’s Mental Health and mention Pusha’s fiancé and went on the interview crying because Pusha basically gave Drake a taste of his own medicine on The story of Adidon. But people like you and dj akedemiks will defend him.

        2. So you’re right cudi made his choice. Just like Drake made the choice to come on an interview and saying someone should punch Pusha and there needs to be rules in rap battles despite him dissing a person’s mental health and mentioning loved ones. If the script was flipped, enablers like you would still defend Drake

    4. How you talking about Officer Ricky Ross then say you dont fuck with police rappers in the next sentence?

      1. Pusha is a walking fraud he’s getting way too much play off drake – good pen game when he ain’t bluffing about his past tho

    5. I swear Pusha lives rent free in Drakes head. Drake still has not healed from that fat L he took from that diss. Nobody cares about an unreleased track and most will never hear it anyway. (Drake got spies watching Pusha’s every move). Young thug is a joke and and puts di.kkk in his mouth. Who even listens to or buys his music, LMAO……

      1. Some might say Darke lives rent free in Pusher Tea’s head, I mean he was the one desperately dissing him for almost a decade for no actual reason. Drake was a fan of his before he found out he was a total fraud just like Ricky Ross and the rest of the fakes.

    6. @kingPush get off drake dick, stop dissing him hoping it boost your career, cause everybody kno your so call ex-dopeboy lifestyle is fabricated, and your verses, and punch lines sound like a rapper thats trying to hard, nobody would know u if it wasn’t for Pharell, Now try that shit wit me, and I don’t give a fuck about rap no more but I will gladly end yo shit’ and @youngthug nobody wants to here u beef no more until u and @SauceWalka punch! #OhhhWeeeeee!!!! #BigDoob #ExDeathrowNigga!!! ???

    7. Let’s talk about the real issue here ….. specifically the way push spelled everything correct and used punctuation but decided to abbreviate about lmao

      1. It’s because you can only fit so much on a Twitter post. Trust me, been there, done that, and making a 2nd post, with only a few word, make that 2nd post unimportant.

    8. Push is funny. He’s talking about Drake telling on him? Didnt you just snitch out him having a kid? You ain’t down with that police shit but you literally just took a photo with the cops last week lmao. Papa Doc strikes again.

      1. Push called out a deadbeat Dad, I see no snitching there…that son needs his father, not a weird ass dude who buys handbags for his future wife he hasn’t met yet.

    9. Pusha T: “Hey everyone Drake has a baby….But I don’t tell ?, telling is bad”

      1. Here comes the weird ass white woman chiming in on Hip-Hop again. Strange. She always is siding with Drake. LOL. Says a lot about how much you know about hip-hop. Isn’t there a pop site for you to go comment on your Canadian homie? We get it, he makes soft ass, corporate shit which is targeted towards lonely confused white women and girls. The shit isn’t hip-hop. I’m pretty sure you work for this site. You’re one of those people who believe in white privileged spouting off about rap. Hahahaha

        1. Wait, you have only focused on the colour of this persons skin and that shes a girl. Makes you seem A) unable to answer the point she made about Push telling and B) GAY.

          1. in a rap battle your supposed to bring out anything to hurt your opponent, btw push didnt jus talk about the kid it’s the fact of who he had the kid with is the punchline

      2. This little girl is on a Hip-hop site siding with Drake, and has the need to call someone a hypocrite. How rich. LOL.

        1. Its just a picture brah, it’s funny that y’all just make assumptions. I’m not a white girl or a Drake fan. It’s just funny to me that Push seems so against “telling on people” when he did just that himself. It’s not that serious.

          1. Nah. You are a white girl. You’ve commented tons on here with your horseshit perspective. You got called out and are trying to play it off. Bruh. LOL. You’re always on here defending that cornball. We know who you are. Funny that your just a picture is the same as the one from Instagram that a writer for this site has.

            1. You’re crazy. It’s just a fake email I made up that belongs to someone. Just like this one. But keep projecting…

    10. They talk about a chess match lol…its like taking a dude that does well at Golf (Drake) trying to be a basketball player (Pusha T)…When it comes to diss tracks Drakes going to end up in a wheelchair again. He got crossed over by Push and if he keeps playing hes going to get hurt…Stay in Your Lane, a Singing Rapper can’t win in a true MC battle. Only reason Drizzy beat Meek Mill was because of popularity and the simple fact Mill ain’t shit as a Rapper lmao but Pusha T, different story

    11. This shit is so lame, and he requested Young Thug but wants to talk like he’s one of the real dudes in the industry, lol. Who called the blogs up to greenlight some more cornball shit because I’m getting tired of it.

      1. And ever body commenting like they no what they talking bout dick riding and legends never get old. Buuut im just some homeless dude from mobile alabama

    12. So Drake called the cops on Pusha ha ha. Pathetic, Drake’s one the biggest pop artists in the world but he ain’t hiphop, not matter how hard he pretends to be

      1. Where did you get Drake called the cops from??? Pusha T has done nothing to warrant calling the authorities. Pusha T also provided no proof of Drake doing any of the things he claimed
