Pusha T Puts Leakers On Notice: “I Will Make A Decent Example Out Of You”

Pusha T has issued a warning to whoever’s responsible for leaking his music. The G.O.O.D. Music president sent a message to the guilty party via Twitter on Saturday night (October 12).

“alll the leaks is cute, i don’t care for real cause once music is old to me it doesn’t matter,” he wrote. “but i promise u this, if i find out who is leaking it i will make a decent example out of u…and no one can stop it, no Kanye, nobody! Just cause u think u can play with me.”

Pusha has been dealing with a barrage of leaks, which he’s responded to by releasing mixed and mastered versions of tracks such as “Sociopath” and the Lauryn Hill-assisted “Coming Home.” But the leak that may have inspired his tweet is a song titled “Success & Nightmares” that surfaced online over the weekend.

In addition to King Push’s work, Kanye West has experienced a constant flow of leaks while fans await his oft-delayed Jesus Is King album. Earlier this year, Pusha voiced his frustrations about all of the unsanctioned G.O.O.D. Music releases in a comment on Twitter.

“I hate it, luckily we are talented beyond measure and can always cook up more,” he noted. “But I honestly hate it for the sake of making an event of a song or project, it ruins all that we have in store for u guys.”

    1. If these guys would actually release music in a fairly timely manner, leaks like this wouldn’t be as frequent. Keep your word, hold up your end of the bargain and they will do the same. It’s about mutual respect.

      1. Bro. I can tell that you don’t cook up or rap. Do you know the creative process behind writing lyrics to a beat? If you were a true emcee/rapper/writer, then you would know how music is gonna get released only when the ARTIST is super cool with the music. You stupid fans have to realize that you can’t rush greatness, and you fans also have to realize how an artist may sit too long with a song and ultimately not like the song, also an artist might encounter sample clearance issues. Life happens too bruh. We’re all human beings before we’re anything else. A certain rapper may be going through marital problems, he/she may be going through depression, a rapper may also have legal shit going on. I’d rather wait patiently to get a CLASSIC album than a rushed-to-appease-“fans” wack ass album. Quality ALWAYS over quantity. I got news for you impatient, wannabe “fans”- a rapper ain’t releasing shit until he/she is at the very least “cool” with the music. Sometimes we (I rap too) have to go back to the drawing board and sometimes we don’t wanna release some shit because we (the artists) don’t feel like the project or album is ready. Case in point- look at Kendrick. Damn dropped over 2 years ago and still no follow up. Inspiration has to strike too. Kamikaze would have never existed if it weren’t for those terrible reviews of Revival. This releasing music shit is complex. If you’re a real fan, you’d wait. An artist might delay an album because he/she seeks more “cohesion” with their project. I’d rather Kanye keep working on Jesus is King than to drop some rushed ass bullshit. Sometimes the rhymes aren’t right. Sometimes as artists we know we could write better raps or record better vocals. The goal is to put out a GREAT project, not just a project. Excellence takes time.

        1. Nah man cooking up is rare nowdays the internet is bigger everyone just wants to network and be artists at the same time and be promoting themselves at the same time nobody hardly needs a promotion now that we got sites like youyube and ig thats how email addresses get leaked and their account gets hacked and all their work leaks

        2. Why you bring up Kamikaze? It’s another post 8 Mile album that was mediocre. You brought that shit up like it was a mic drop

        3. Who are these niggas writing essays on here??? Are you an actual artist of just some tool that thinks he’s a source of credibility to hip-hop??? shut thee fuck up your commenting on a hip-hop website…it ain’t that deep dufus

    2. What you’re going to do to the person? Make a diss rap against them because you definitely not going to fight them.

    3. Pusha is full of himself…Illmatic got bootlegged to death and Nas was still in the projects. Pusher will be alright. And if not, he can transform and do his Mister Sniffles thing
