The murder of rap legend Tupac Shakur remains one of the most infamous unsolved murders to date. A former gangster, who is the uncle of one of the prime suspects, has come and confessed his role in the 1996 killing in an interview now circulating in the UK.
Duane Keith Davis, known to the streets as “Keefe D,” is the uncle of Orlando Anderson, the sole suspect arrested in the murder of Tupac Shakur. Anderson, who died in 1998 as a result of a gang-related shooting, has always denied his involvement in the killing of the All Eyez on Me creator.

However, according to Davis, it was he who was in the car when another passenger shot Tupac four times.
Davis initially revealed the details in a documentary titled Death Row Chronicles in which he claimed that he was “the only one alive” who can tell the world what happened on the night of September 7, 1996.
Claiming that people have been looking for him to tell his story for more than 20 years, he decided to come forward now because he has cancer, and therefore, he has nothing left to lose.
“All I care about now is the truth,” he said.

A 10-part series called Unsolved: The Tupac and Biggie Murders, which is based on an extensive LAPD investigation launched by former cop Greg Kading, premiered earlier this year. Kading says that part of his ultimate findings was based on these — and other — admissions that Davis recorded under immunity.
Nevertheless, Davis still refuses to name the actual triggerman, claiming that doing so would “violate the code of the streets” while also claiming that he was “in the back seat” and, thus, couldn’t accurately identify the shooter.

I’m a huge Pac fan and I appreciate Keefe D setting the record straight. I hold no malice against this man as he gave Tupac what he wanted.
We all knew Tupac was escalating his fury and rage in his music and it was only going to be a matter of time until someone checked him for that. And as a fan, I can honestly say I continued to buy his music to hear his rage and fury… we all did.
It was only after he died did we reflect upon the man he was. In a small way, we are all responsible for his demise.

How so? If you have listened to his albums from 2Pacalypse Now all the way to 7 Day Theory (as they were released) you could tell he was escalating. Keefe D/Orlando Anderson just gave to Tupac exactly what he was gunning for. Not saying it was right but it’s funny how karma attracts karma. I was there and listened to this man grow up as I grew up. I didn’t find his songs on back catalogue, I had them as they were released. Happy to school you anytime.
How is this just now in the news? I know I’ve heard tapes of this guy confessing to the cops. He may not have done any television interviews prior to this, but I’ve heard tapes of him giving the whole story while being interrogated that date back to ’07 or ’08, the audio was in one of the many documentaries about the ‘Pac case.

As everyone else has commented – this is old news. All these documentaries/dramas have different angles and leave out anything that would not fit in to their explanation. Also if you are doing a factual dramatisation why put in stuff that never even happened – small detail – Kading never met Poole – in UNSOLVED – they meet discuss etc. If this is inaccurate what else is ? It is good though but disjointed difficult to follow at times ,
I believe Kading’s theory- his and Poole’s pretty much agreed on the important stuff (that Suge was behind Big’s murder), but there’s more evidence when on Kading’s theory when it comes to who else was involved, compared to Poole’s.. Poole’s story sounded intriguing and believable at first but he didnt have a whole lot to support his theory. I agree its silly to add or change details for a movie/series/whatever, but thats Hollywood.. they also didnt have a fine ass female cop on the task force!
Since investigations are opened lets start by remembering in the first days of this crime Tupac every news station said the incident happened in New York not Vegas. Id also like to add that those were rumors of Tupac, has anybody seen Tupac? Some say he’s being held captive; however, the victim in this case us Otis Thourpe a ex NBA player who had been shot in the dome and survived changing his name to Lamond Murphy remaing a NBA player. Three why Pac’s mom never got around to states speaking about her son’s murder? Do you know who did this? Some say a terror group involving fatel, fraud, bank robberies, and other surrounding things. Finally rumors arw coming out that Donald Trump, Europe guy Puttin, Bill Clinton, & one of the Bush presidents were pick people in a car for the kid who shot the guy. Its also spoken the kids mom drove him to New York.
