“In a dark place,” Offset wrote, followed by a middle finger emoji.

In a previous tweet, he shared some artwork that featured TakeOff with a caption that read: “I miss you bra tryna push through the pain.”

Earlier this month, Offset took the stage for the first time since TakeOff’s passing. Accompanied by Cardi B, the “Clout” rapper  hit the stage at E11EVEN in Miami, Florida, telling the audience: “We’re doing this for my brother, for TakeOff … let’s do this shit!”

The performance followed Offset’s touching tribute to TakeOff on Instagram that he wrote back in November.

“Dear Take, doesn’t feel real posting you like this….This still doesn’t feel like reality. I’ve been searching for the right words to say, but there aren’t any that will suffice. Until we meet again, Rest In Power. I love you,” he captioned the post.

Offset added: “I wish I could hug you one last time. Laugh one last time. Smoke one last time. Perform one last time. I know someone with a soul like yours is in heaven now.”

Cardi B also shared just how hard its been to cope with the reality of losing TakeOff.

“It has been a couple of weeks, and I feel like a lot of people are starting to feel a little bit comfortable with trying to be funny, trying to say slick shit,” Cardi said. “I know that y’all been seeing my InstaStories and y’all see Offset in and out on my Stories. You know, we’re living our life normally, but deep down inside our hearts have been so heavy.”

She continued: “I feel like if I talk about the incident so desensitized, I feel like if we talk about how we really feel or what muthafuckas really been going through, y’all will start saying, ‘Oh, sympathy.’ And we don’t want no sympathy. We ain’t no charity case. But no lie, I have been feeling so hopeless trying to make my husband happy.

“Trying to make him crack a smile, seeing him randomly cry, see him trying to distract his mind completely, schedules been changing, trying to keep up with work after everything that he’s been going through these past couple of weeks,” she went on. “We not in the mood to be fucking playing around with y’all, deadass. I will deadass kill y’all. Stop fucking playing.”

TakeOff’s Murder Occurred After Punch Was Thrown In Quavo’s Defense, Says Affidavit

TakeOff’s alleged killer, Patrick Xavier Clark, has been granted $5,000 to hire a private investigator from the judge presiding over the case. According to NBC News, Clark, the man accused of murdering TakeOff outside 810 Billiards and Bowling Alley in Houston last month, made the request to the judge according to a motion filed on Monday (December 5).

When Houston police announced Clark’s arrest, they claimed that he was planning to flee the country and obtained a passport and tickets to Mexico shortly before he was apprehended. However, his attorneys argued that the trip was preplanned.

“That was something that was already pre-planned, and it was canceled before he was arrested. So, I think that’s important. He wasn’t trying to go anywhere,” said Letitia Quinones of Quinones & Associates.
