Nick Cannon Drops ‘The Miseducation Of The Negro You Love to Hate’ Mixtape With Fresh Eminem Swipe

Despite Nick Cannon’s hectic schedule, which includes hosting duties for both The Masked Singer and Wild ‘N Out, the Power 106 radio personality found time to craft a new mixtape called The Miseducation of The Negro You Love to Hate Vol. 1.

Cannon shared an Instagram post about the project on Monday (January 13).

“It’s simple but says a great deal and that’s how this project came together, just poring my soul out to the world… I hear y’all loud and clear,” he wrote in the caption. “Hate me or Love me, Educate Yourself.” [apple_news_ad type=”any”]

Comprised of seven tracks, the project (naturally) features a swipe at his current nemesis Eminem on the track “Used To Look Up To You.”

“Niggas out here tweetin’ like they been a savage,” he spits. “Dick ridin’ lil’ Marshall Mathers/Had to put on my turban like I’m Aladdin/Niggas out here cappin’, Black Lives Matter.”

The latest jab is another entry into his long running feud with Slim Shady, which Em reignited last month on Fat Joe’s “Lord Above” single featuring Mary J. Blige. As part of the song, Shady took several shots at Cannon and his ex-wife Mariah Carey.

As a result, Cannon returned with three diss tracks — “The Invitation” featuring Suge Knight, “Pray For Him” with The Black Squad and “Canceled: Invitation.” 50 Cent revealed he advised Em not to respond — which he hasn’t (yet).

Check out the mixtape stream, cover art and tracklist below.

    1. Smh, this dude. Look at his tracklist. “Ghetto Blues” when the fuk this dude had the ghetto blues? When he was 8? Dude was on Nickelodeon when he was 10. Of course he got a track titled “Instead of Nipsey”. Cut it out. Nipsey aint rock wit this dude. I don’t even need to hear this album to know it’s doo doo.

    2. Actually nick went on TI’s podcast to say shit first then Eminem said his stuff on fat joes track, I can’t believe you don’t know or didn’t mention shows you don’t research anything. What a joke

      1. Stop it. Nick was asked questions and answered them. All he did was tell his thoughts at the time. There wasn’t anything worthy of being taken as a diss. And truth be told, ……4 is better than none.

        1. Um, Nick threatened to kick Eminem ass even said he went to Detroit one day looking for him.. He was tryna 0lay the tough guy in those interviews. smh says:

Um, Nick threatened to kick Eminem ass even said he went to Detroit one day looking for him.. He was tryna 0lay the tough guy in those interviews. smh

    3. He needs to do a track called clown car, own up to being a clown, and put this all behind him. 4 tracks now and he’s crying still. No wonder Mariah dumped him.

    4. How you gonna call it Miseducation on some conscious ish and every song autotune? I guess this the new activism. The actual lyrics aren’t horrible, but as always, the cringe is real on this project.

    5. Your obsession is really, really sad, Nick. Please go back to doing whatever it is you do that isn’t music. Stop embarrassing yourself and indirectly your whole race.

      1. We’re fine. I mean, he has his reasons. Plus, whether he made that apology or not, Eminem did carry some racist views of black women.

        1. That was over 20 years n he apologized n explained that song n the black community forgave him back when Benzino came out with this lol

    6. This negro is the black Kevin Federline..,I mean for real K. Fed thought he was gangsta too in fact he even got a bar that was very similar to k feds bars, something about being in a different tax bracket or something to that nature

    7. Who TF is gassing this man up making him think that anyone wants to hear him on a track? Please, for the love of God, STOP!!

    8. Pretty much nick ass biting at rod wave flow and type beat in a smaaalll way tbvh if you listen carefully lmao. idk to me it sounds like it but way too much autotune for me should’ve had soulja boy along withcha or sum haha

    9. I was trying to remember a track Nick ever had. Then I found out he had that trash azz Gigolo song with R Kelly that officially ended the jersey era. It was cool with Jay, Puff, even Fab… but a few years later when Nick and every other corny azz rapper was doin it… naw. Then I found out he released an album, not song, ALBUM, titled White People Party Music. And this dude is trying to wear a turban, talk about black lives matter, and diss Em for being white. SMH. Nick Cannon aka the Ultimate Uncle Tom.

    10. I love the comments calling Em racist because he made a song disrespecting black women when he was 16 after getting dumped. Because the hip hop community is usually so welcoming and respectful towards women… Not saying it was right but he was a kid lashing out. Glass houses, don’t tell me shit when half of you are still defending Bill Cosby.

      1. From what I see on the internet, blacks are more racist than whites these days proving that history has taught them nothing.

      2. I’m reading all comments and no one said shit about EM being a racist on this comment stream… you just made that shit up so you can start some bullshit about Bill Cosby.. I know your type.. you are the racists fuck actually..foh!

      3. Weed is legal’ish relax. Pop your Colt 45 or Pabst Blue Ribbon. Let that mullet sway in the wind. Afros no need to scream back…relax. The world is full of Pimps and Trolls. The deaf are mostly intrigued by the drum. Stay above the noise my Ninjas. Wutang is for the Children , thankfully the racist bs I hear these days is not. Booming and your booming..

        1. JESUS IS KING BRO! What a classic album BRO!! U rocking dem cheaply made, overrpriced Yeezies too?! So edgy bro!!

    11. Wild n out is his last life line. Idk who watches MTV any more. Some one needs to shut off the gas on these wired n stan’Ed out crew

    12. Mariah Carey should release an Obsessed song about Nick Cannon’s infatuation with EM geez fkn christ. All of this has stemmed from EM rapping a few bars on Lord Above.

    13. I think he really believes Eminem isn’t responding because he is scared LMAO All the top rappers say they won’t mess with the white boy. Somehow Nick Cannon truly believes he is better than Em? How many songs had he done this past couple months 5? He is using Eminem’s silence to make money off of him technically and to get more attention. Pretty sad. Eminem doesn’t have to respond to him because there is no competition nor comparison. However, I think Nick keeps poking the bear and Eminem is going to release the track I’m sure he has already done. He will humiliate him, no doubt. Career ending type song. Bless your heart Nick. Lol

    14. Please give up Nick. You ain’t got it …never will. If Eminem fell off he would still be better than nick cannon. Someone as been gassing this guy up.

    15. So I guess I’ll find this at a dollar tree soon too, right!? Right next to his DVD “Mr showbiz” I just saw today! Maybe it’ll get a double CD/DVD combo deal…

    16. Lol this supposed to be a Hip Hop site yet can not get known shit correct. ‘which Em reignited last month on Fat Joe’s “Lord Above” single’ No Eminem did not say shit for how many years? 10? It was Nick Cannon going on radio saying he would slap the shit out of him and went looking for him. If you listen to Ems verse on the Joe song it is pretty self explanatory.

    17. Sounds like a really poor mans pathetic version of Drake on So Far Gone..i actually gave this a listen, can’t believe he thought this was good..

    18. The bars are trash AND AGAIN, Cannon reignited the feud talking shit on the podcast. Em’s verse references the podcast when he says he almost got his ass beat. Stop trying to change history, stop trying to get Em outta here, you guys are clowns.

    19. This guy is losing his mind while the internet is winning. He’s almost at Antonio Brown level. Hang it up bud, go host some shows.

    20. The other thing is idk how nick can go around talking about his black rights an everything when he grew up more white privileged then a lot of white people and he still has the balls acting like he grew up in the ghetto and acting like a real gangster when a real gangster would make him piss his pants.

    21. This is the product of surrounding yourself with Yes Men. Nobody on his team has the nuts to tell him how incredibly trash this output of material is.

    22. Not sure why this guy thinks anyone loves or hates him. I know who he is, but nothing he does resonates enough to matter.

    23. Love him or hate him? Or doesn’t matter enough to care about him? Nick has been the white mans whipping boy for the past 20 years. The only saving grace about him is he has been exposing hollywood for the sick bastards they are.

      1. Right. Put it on the white folks again, that’s the only thing brainless retards can do these days, blame this, blame that… But what about taking care of yourself first before judging someone else for this or that. We would have taken crybaby Nicky a bit more serious if he wouldn’t copy these autotune lil pump’s mental disordered generation of HipHop that put the culture in a bad light. Fuck Nick, fuck selfvictimizedvictims of jack shit and all the other pieces of trash.

    24. Stop with the did Nick. Em not going to respond to yo ass. You’re wasting your breath. Em hurting you lmao because if no response. Awwwww so said

    25. Bro ain’t nobody going to buy Nick Cannon music he thinks it’s going to help his sales if he mention Eminem. Nope still ain’t gonna buy it,if it was free I wouldn’t listen to it. LMFAO

    26. Damn….the self black hatred is real in here. Niggas in here sticking up for the white boy when Nick didn’t even start the bullshit….I guess the white man wins again, fucking boot licking asses.

      1. nick cannon was on multiple radio interviews talking about eminem before the fat joe song dropped. this garbage is all a PR stunt for wild n out. being in world where blacks have to only agree with blacks is the #1 problem.

      2. Another boohooweakass victimized clown. The white mans wins? Self black hatred? Wtf? For real. You probably believe in all the conspiracy theories about anything too, ain’t it? You make as much sense as my last line. Get your life together and quit seeing things in white and black, you brainless turd fucking black panther’s boots for whatever fairy tale. Give up internet clown.

    27. Everyone forget that nick cannon has been talking about this and dissing em to the whole world before em rapped that verse in gwt Joe’s song. Last I seen he was doing an interview with TI talking about em. So some ppl talking about em like he brought it back up when cannon never dropped it. Lol bringing race into this is stupid and the only one doing that is cannon who in case everyone forgot he grew up white then anyone I know being a Nickelodeon kid. It’s funny how nick try’s to be your stereotype black guy and started wildn out and hangs with all them thug looking ppl and after years all them little kids who grew up watching wildn out think that that’s him but us older folk know what’s up he a fake dude.

    28. Sure is a lot of hate going on in the comments. Just relax brothers and sisters. The songs are trash and we all know it. Keep your cool, have your opinion, and move on. No need to keep arguing just because someone is misinformed. It’s 2020 let’s make this year better than last. Love, respect, and unification.
