New Music Friday is bringing the variety this week, and that doesn’t even include SZA‘s promise to drop new heat on Super Bowl Sunday.

Basketball player-turned-rapper LiAngelo Ball had been promising a big name to accompany him on a remix to his breakout hit “Tweaker,” and he’s found just that in Lil Wayne. It remains to be seen what Cam’ron thinks of the collab, though.

Another star-studded collaboration comes from Cardi B and secret weapon songwriter Pardison Fontaine, who reunite following the success of past hits like “Bodak Yellow,” “WAP” and “Up.”

There are more link-ups this week courtesy of DJ Premier and Roc Marciano, Nardo Wick and Kodak Black, and IDK and Denzel Curry.

On the softer side of things, Coi Leray opens her heart on a tearjerker of a track about her recent relationship woes, while Tommy Richman continues to prove that despite what he thinks, he is a Hip Hop artist.

Special shoutout to Wiz Khalifa, who has gifted us a remix of Kendrick Lamar‘s “Squabble Up,” which is the best thing he has done in years.

Check out the best of New Music Friday below.

LiAngelo Ball (aka GELO) feat. Lil Wayne — “Tweaker (Remix)”

Produced By: KUNICA & Glockiecheez

The former basketball star had been teasing a Hall of Fame name for the official remix of his viral hit, and has likely exceeded fan expectations by recruiting Lil Wayne. Weezy takes the feature seriously enough (as he usually does) and is helped by the fact that the beat is not a million miles away from what Mannie Fresh was cooking up for Cash Money in the early ’00s.

Cardi B & Pardison Fontaine — “Toot It Up”

Produced By: Street Symphony

Fontaine’s messy breakup with Megan Thee Stallion could’ve make things akward between him and the Bronx bombshell, but Cardi and Pardi’s latest hook-up is no slight to Tina Snow as the two have been working together for nearly a decade. It’s unknown if “Tool It Up” will make its way on to Cardi’s long-delayed sophomore album, which she has promised will drop this year.

Tommy Richman — “Actin Up”

Produced By: Jonah Roy & Kavian Salehi

Hip Hop’s current controversial white boy of the moment, Tommy Richman has downplayed the idea of him being primarily a Hip Hop artist. Frankly, that’s laughable when you listen to his new single “Actin Up,” which is his most rap-orientated release so far.

DJ Premier & Roc Marciano — “Armani Section”

Produced By: DJ Premier

“Armani Section” is a double whammy of good news. Not only is it a stellar Premo and Marciano collab, but it’s the first taste of a joint EP from the rap veterans that’s scheduled to drop later this year. It’s amazing that this is the first time they’ve worked together.

Nardo Wick feat. Kodak Black — “I Don’t Fuck With This Beat”

Produced By: ATL Jacob

Over a stunningly sinister beat (ironic given the song’s title), Nardo Wick and Kodak Black join forces for a Floridian head-bopper. A standout from Nardo’s new quickfire EP, Hold On.

Coi Leray — “Keep It”

Produced By: Taylor Hill & Tommy “Tbhits” Brown

Surprisingly vulnerable in tone, “Keep It” is accompanied by little except a gentle piano melody as Coi Leray addresses the fallout of her relationship with Trippie Redd, who is believed to have cheated on her while pregnant.
