LiAngelo Ball has continued his war of words with Cam’ron by boldly claiming that he is a better rapper than the Dipset legend.
Despite only having one song to his name — the early 2000s-inspired “Tweaker,” which has become a viral hit — the basketball player-turned-rapper doesn’t lack confidence in his skills in the booth.

“I think I rap colder than him,” he said in an interview with Complex. “Basketball colder than them n-ggas. I’m not over here like, ‘Dang, he said I can’t do this.’ I knew this shit was coming. I just be keeping it cool.”
He added: “Other people gonna [disagree], that’s their legend. I’m not disrespecting him […] I’m feeling like I’m up there with my music.”
Elsewhere during the interview, Ball hinted at dropping a remix of “Tweaker” featuring a big name.
Asked about who will feature on the remix, the 26-year-old said he “respected” Moneybagg Yo and Boosie Badazz reaching out to him and asking to jump on the song, but he has other plans.

“I had to go get a legend, bro,” he said, although the name of the artist was bleeped out. “It’s nasty. I’ma save it for the album.”
Ball implied that the artist is a label mate of his on Def Jam, with whom he recently signed a lucrative deal, and that the record company “helped [him] get it done.”

“I heard the verse and then I hit him directly like, ‘Yo, this is crazy! You the GOAT for real, cuh,'” he said. “He was like, ‘I appreciate it.’ That’s like hooping with Jordan.”
Def Jam’s current roster includes the likes of 2 Chainz, Big Sean, Jeezy, Fabolous, Jadakiss, Pusha T and LL Cool J, as well as Justin Bieber.
Cam’ron, who is also currently beefing with former Dipset cohort Jim Jones, has yet to respond to Ball’s latest comments.
The former G-League star has been going back and forth with Cam in recent months after the Harlem native mocked him for not being good enough to make it in the NBA like his brothers Lonzo and LaMelo.

Ball fired back on his podcast What an Experience and dismissed Killa Cam’s rap career, saying: “‘Suck It Or Not’ with Lil Wayne, that’s all I remember from you.”
He added: “I’ve never talked to someone and you’ve been in [their] top five, top 10, bro. I’ve never heard your name in no rap convo.”
In response, Cam compared LiAngelo to Michael Jackson‘s lesser-known siblings: “I’m not arguing with Tito Jackson […] I ain’t even gonna him Tito, either. He Rebbie Jackson.”
