New Music Friday: New Singles From GloRilla, 4Batz & Lil Baby, Meek Mill & More

Another Friday, another giant drop of new music from artists new, old and everything in between.

Headlining this week’s stacked release schedule is GloRilla as she announces her debut album with big single “Hollon,” while Meek Mill flexes his lyrical muscles on “Cyber Truck.”

Various viral sensations such as 4Batz, Tommy Richman and Yeat also look to further establish themselves as major players in the culture.

Veterans like Kid Cudi and Wale also continue to turn up the heat in 2024, while DaBaby tries to win fans back with the apologetic single “Did It” — one of two new offerings from the controversial North Carolina native.

The collaboration of the week goes to Rome Streetz, Daringer and ScHoolboy Q, while Katy Perry injects some unlikely Hip Hop flavor into her new album 143 with features from 21 Savage and JID.

See the full list of new songs below and check out this week’s New Music Friday albums coverage featuring brand new projects from Future, The Alchemist, Lil Tecca and more.

    GloRilla — “Hollon”

Produced By: FNZ, SkipOnDaBeat & DJ Montay

With the Memphis native announcing her long-anticipated debut album Glorious, GloRilla has given fans an early taste of what they can expect from the project which drops on October 11. After teasing it for a while, “Hollon” is finally here in its finished form and is a bombastic track with a female empowerment theme.

4batz feat. Lil Baby — “Roll Da Dice”

    Produced By: Seva & MikeWavvs

The viral singer who claims the likes of Drake and Kanye West among his most fevered fans is continuing his scorcher of a 2024 by hooking up with Lil Baby. 4Batz’s latest is a continuation of what fans have come to expect with a fusion of classic R&B and modern trap with lyrics about wooing women.

    Meek Mill — “Cyber Truck”

Produced By: Sheff Made It, Audio Jacc, Lor & B-wolf

Though the title would have you thinking this was Meek’s tribute to the Tesla vehicle, the Philadelphia rapper’s latest single sees him spit straight verses namedropping world champion boxer Gervonta Davis, NBA superstar Stephen Curry and late fashion pioneer Virgil Abloh.

    Yeat — “TurnMeUp”

Produced By: Synthetic, Sharkboy, UpMadeIt & HEYARNOLD

The experimental Californian continues to have one of the most prolific bursts of creativity in recent years as he thrives to build off his viral success with release after release. He has promised fans two more albums in 2024 and if “TURNMEUP” is anything to go by, they will be raucous affairs.

DaBaby — “Can’t Keep Keisha” + “Did It”

Produced By: Sean da Firzt & KayoTheWizard | Sean da Firzt, KayoTheWizard & Cash Flo

Seeking to regain the standing he had before his controversial homophobic comments, DaBaby is back with not one but two singles — the latter of which, “Did It”, sees him in an unexpectedly reflective mood as he confronts past mistakes.

Nardo Wick feat. BossMan Dlow — “Oh Shit”

    Produced By: Hazel

The Jacksonville star has had a busy year on the road touring with 21 Savage, but he’s also been hard at work in the studio lately, releasing his third single in quick time. “Oh Shit” sees him recruit fellow Floridian and breakout star BossMan Dlow for this dirty south anthem.

Kid Cudi & Chip Tha Ripper — “Don’t Worry”

Produced By: Anthony Kilhoffer, Teddy Walton, Aaron Bow & tizhimself

Dropping two albums in one year is not enough for Cudder as he reunites with old comrade Chip Tha Ripper for a throwback sounding single, reminiscent of Mr. Rager’s early 2010s output.

Wale — “Welcome to the Stage (Tame Impala Freestyle)”

    Produced By: Tame Impala

The offbeat collaboration you never knew you needed. Taking Australian band Tame Impala’s hit “The Moment,” Wale transforms the electro beat into the perfect background for some funk-enthused party rap as he spits some of his sharpest bars.

Rome Streetz & Daringer feat. ScHoolboy Q — “Sage”

    Produced By: Daringer

Ahead of their much-anticipated full-length project Hatton Garden Holdup, Rome and Daringer are bringing the goods with the ScHoolboy Q-assisted single “Sage.” Rome has made no secret of his love of Q and their chemistry here is discernible.

    Tommy Richman — “Whitney”

Produced By: Jonah Roy, John Wehmeyer & lim0
