New Music Friday: New Albums From Ab-Soul, FERG, Real Boston Richey & More

New Music Friday has no shortage of banging albums for Hip Hop heads to get their teeth into this week.

Leading the way is Ab-Soul with his sixth LP (and second in two years) Soul Burger, which is an immediate Best Rap Album of the Year contender.

On the opposite coast, the artist formerly known as A$AP Ferg delivers a varied and impressively cohesive project called Darold that further proves the Harlem native is one of the most uniquely infectious rappers in the game today.

Following on from Future‘s flood of chart-topping projects, Freebandz signee Real Boston Richey continues the label’s hot streak with his sophomore album, while BabyTron keeps Detroit’s thriving rap scene revving away with his third full-length release this year.

Rounding out the week are brand new projects from the likes of Hitkidd, JasonMartin and Ella Mai.

Check out the full batch of new albums below and don’t miss this week’s New Music Friday single spotlight featuring new tracks from Cordae and Joey Bada$$, NBA YoungBoy, Young Nudy and Pi’erre Bourne, and more.

      1. I knew you would mention Blueprint. He is a underground legend in my book. I wish we get the Orphanage album someday. Imagine that!

      2. Seems like i‘m predictable lol.
BTW, there is a Channel on YT by Ben Gemmell where, you find The Orphanage,.

      3. This album is just a compilation of tracks from their various albums, like you have Aesop Rock songs from float, daylight ep or labor days. I would love to hear a proper, and new album from them as a group so we now what they represent right now
