New Music Friday: Mike WiLL Made-It, Rick Ross, Latto, Kid Cudi & More

Mike WiLL Made-It continues to carry the torch for superproducers with his star-studded new album R3SET.

Almost a decade after his last full-length effort, the multi-platinum hitmaker returns with the third installment in his Ransom series and has rounded up the Southern rap avengers — from J. Cole, 21 Savage and Young Thug to T.I., Ludacris and Killer Mike.

Nearly 20 years into his career, Kid Cudi has dropped his debut EP with the four-track HAVE U BN 2 HEAVEN @ NITE?, BigXThaPlug introduces the world to his 600 Entertainment crew with the N.W.A-inspired 6WA, and Samara Cyn continues to prove she’s one of the game’s brightest new talents with her new project Detour.

There’s plenty on offer this week when it comes to new singles, too. Rick Ross, French Montana and Max B stay fly on the luxurious, Masta Ace-sampling “Minks In Miami,” Latto confirms her pregnancy with 21 Savage in her new “Business & Personal” video — the lead single from her aptly-titled upcoming album Big Mama — and Coi Leray borrows Kelis’ “Milkshake” recipe on her new NBA YoungBoy-assisted club anthem “Better Than Yours.”

Oh, and there’s also a new Yeat and Kylie Jenner (yes, you read that right) collab which is bound to divide opinion. Check out all the best new rap albums and songs below.

    1. J fold ruined Mike’s project, Kid Cudi sucks, and so does Latto. Coi I’d smash but song is ok I guess better than most the man hating female rappers like Cardi, Meg, and Glorilla occasionally.

    2. Each week I’m left thinking, “Next week can’t get any worse than this” and then it does.

2025 was a great year for hip-hop but 2026 is proving to be something of a damp squib 3 months in!
