      1. Oh shut up, Em hasn’t been in the GOAT conversation for years and doesn’t deserve a nom for that song ffs. Em’s last truly great album came out over 20 years ago.

          1. It took a lot from him. You know that the man behind the curtain is the one who took that nasal twit and turned him into a star. That’s why Dre’s worth 5 times more than the supposed GOAT. The dude can’t rap over anything but a Dre beat cause Dre’s the only one that could have wrapped a beat around that 12-year-old squeal and made it sound anything other than cringe. He raps over anything else and gets tongue tied.

The only song that doesn’t belong on that hip-hop list is the one from Eminem. For once, MTV actually tossed him something that’s so cringe it peaked at 51 on the charts. Even 50 year old dads turned it off like, “OMG son now you’re making weed analogies over a Fat Joe beat.”

    1. What an utter embarrassment to have “From the D to the LBC” (Huh?) on that list of “Best Hip-Hop.” MTV spotted whitey and their last big thing and tossed a nomination there. That song didn’t have a single memorable line and bricked at 51 on the charts. It’s not even in the same league as anything else on the list.

      But he white doh!

    2. PS That song is Fat Joe’s “Lean Back” with a heavier thump. It’s a straight rip off of a song that was barely classic in its own time. With the most generic dad lyrics available. Nothing on it could be considered lyricism. It’s dialed in verses with no heart and no message, not even the message, “I’ma kick your —.” But it’s MTV. Last gasps from last gasps.

    3. By the way, how did i lok # the vmas…? From whichever tv u was watchin me from in boston…? The maen strets in boston…? [Real stans wil kbow which song this is]
