Meek Mill has once again dipped his toe into the political pool, taking aim at Joe Biden for allegedly “lying” about the Philadelphia weapons deals.

In an undated video currently making its rounds online, President Biden can be seen talking about trucks pulling up to the curb “selling weapons, selling guns” in the streets of New York City and Philadelphia. He goes on to explain that moving forward, the consequences for these types of exchanges will be worse.

Meek, however, didn’t take kindly to Biden’s assessments and posted an Instagram story on Wednesday (November 29) calling out his claims.

“Gotta be the army pulling up with trucks of guns in Philly,” he wrote in the caption. “This not true unless he know something we don’t know!” Check it out below.

This isn’t the first time that Meek Mill has called out Joe Biden.

Back in 2021, the Dreams & Nightmares rapper teamed up with Drake and numerous other superstar rappers and athletes to draw Washington D.C.’s attention to marijuana reform.

According to Fox13, a letter was sent to The White House addressing President Biden on September 14, calling for the pardon of all non-violent cannabis offenders currently locked up in prisons across the country.

Other rappers supporting the bill include Killer Mike, Ty Dolla $ign, Quavo, Kodak Black, Dave East, T.I., and 2 Chainz. In the sports world, the movement has found a push from NFL Hall of Famer Deion Sanders, Stephen Jackson, Kevin Garnett, Al Harrington, J.R. Smith, Julio Jones and John Wall.

“Whatever one thinks of other drugs and other defendants, incarcerating marijuana offenders in federal prisons is a misuse of our nation’s resources and grossly hypocritical, given that a clear majority of Americans oppose marijuana prohibition and about half admit to using the drug during their lifetime,” the letter reads.

“It also stands against the arc of history and the principle of federalism: nearly three-quarters of the states have now abandoned the federal government’s blanket criminal ban in favor of safe, regulated legal access to marijuana for adults and/or those with qualifying medical conditions.”
