Lil Wayne Tour Bus Shooter Says Birdman Should Be Held Liable

Jimmy Winfrey, the man charged for shooting Lil Wayne’s tour bus, is saying that Birdman should be held accountable for the crime as well, TMZ reports.

“[Birdman’s] financial dispute with [Lil Wayne] is what ultimately led to the shooting,” Winfrey says in new court documents.

In December, Lil Wayne said on Twitter that he wanted off Cash Money Records and he later sued Birdman for $8 million.

Because of this, “[Birdman] should be held liable as a party to the crime,” the documents continue.

Last month, Birdman was named with Young Thug in an indictment for conspiracy in the shooting.

Birdman denied involvement in the shooting.

    1. Birdman had nothing to do with the shooting. Maybe some crazed birdman fan who felt cheated that wayne dissed against birdman.

      1. Aim actually a Tony Yayo fan though… you should check out Gun Powder Guru.. he is one of the last few who actually know how to make gangsta music.. “murder” the original & remix with uncle murda are fire..

    2. Its not out the realm of possibility*wayne was a huge source of income for the so called #1 stunna*& he also said with angie tht rap gets gangsta sometimes*

    3. The situation’s lame because no shots connected to anyone. Like, when are actual humans gonna get beat or shot?

    4. How can someone who fired the gun claim that somebody else should be responsible just Bc they had financial issues.
