Lil Wayne’s tour bus was shot at early Sunday (April 26) morning in Atlanta, Georgia, WSB-TV Atlanta reports.
The Young Money rapper was in town for a “Release Partiez” tour stop at Compound nightclub on Saturday night.
According to Atlanta police spokeswoman Elizabeth Espy, the shooting occurred around 3:30 AM – mere moments after two of Wayne‘s tour buses left the venue. ATL authorities were called to the Mandarin Oriental hotel on Peachtree Road where officers on the scene found two tour buses that had been shot multiple times, Espy said.
“Witnesses could only provide a limited description of the suspect vehicles,” Espy added. “They were described as two white vehicles, possibly a Corvette-style vehicle and an SUV. No one was injured.”
