Just a little over two months since it was first released, Lil Wayne has announced a string of tour dates in honor of his Sorry For The Wait 2 mixtape hitting four million downloads online, according to Rap-Up.
The tour, titled Release Partiez, sees Weezy hit various nightclubs across 18 different cities with reports indicating that more dates are set to be added sometime soon.
In addition, Lil Wayne is reportedly set to debut the video for his remix of O.T. Genasis’ “CoCo” off SFTW2 in the coming days. A trailer for the video can be viewed below.
Sorry For The Wait 2 received a two-and-a-half out of five rating from HipHopDX, with writer Eric Diep commenting: “Although there are some bright sparks of creativity that remind us of his formidable days, Weezy’s lackluster punchlines, and poor attempts at song remakes is an uneasy indicator that Tha Carter V might not be worth the wait after all.”
