Birdman will not be counting Tyga’s fourth studio album, The Gold Album: 18th Dynasty, against his contract and is ready to take the “Rack City” rapper to court if necessary, according to TMZ. The Cash Money CEO believes Tyga purposefully encouraged his fans to listen to the album for free by premiering it on Spotify.

TMZ reports that Baby did not approve of the Young Money rapper‘s decision.

Birdman is reportedly ready to take legal action against Tyga and says the “Ayo” rapper still owes Cash Money another album.

The New Orleans native feels like Tyga pulled the move in order to get out of his contract so he can sign with Lil Wayne.

The Gold Album: 18th Dynasty’s sold 2,200 physical copies, significantly less than his 2013 release, Hotel California, which sold 54,000 in its first week.
