Kodak Black will be released from jail sooner than expected.
A judge has approved a motion granting the incarcerated rapper an additional 30 days of time served, according to The Blast.
Broward County Jail records confirm Black’s reduced sentence. His expected release date is now listed as August 18.
Black, who legally changed his name to Bill K. Kapri, was sentenced to a year behind bars for probation violations. The multi-platinum selling artist was originally scheduled to be released in September as part of a plea deal, according to the Sun-Sentinel.

Kodak Black has been sentenced to one year behind bars after striking a deal with Florida prosecutors in his gun and marijuana case, according to The Blast.
Black, whose real name is Dieuson Octave, pleaded guilty to two probation violations — driving on a suspended license and associating with people committing crimes — after prosecutors dropped the other charges against him.
Bradford Cohen, Black’s attorney, was pleased with the end result, as seen in a Twitter post on Tuesday afternoon (April 17).
“Just completely resolved @KodakBlack1k case,” he wrote. “The State and Judge were professional and fair. I am happy not just for a client, but for a friend. There are great things in store for him, and he is glad to have this behind him.”
Earlier in the day, Cohen said his client was studying hard for his GED.
Black was facing up to 12 years of incarceration following his January 18 arrest on multiple charges, including grand theft of a firearm, gun possession, drug possession, child neglect and probation violation. The charges of possession of a weapon by a convicted felon, third-degree grand theft and child neglect were dropped a month later, but prosecutors added charges of felony possession of cannabis and possession of ammunition by a delinquent.
Once the Heart Break Kodak rapper is released from the county jail, he will not have to serve any more time on probation. Black has already been locked up for 90 days, so he could reportedly be out as soon as October with good behavior.
The controversial artist still has legal issues looming in South Carolina. Last October, Black was indicted by a Florence County grand jury on charges of first-degree criminal sexual conduct.

Well it looks like they did not like to see him winning but rather see him in the penitentiary.
He had a lot of charges against him dude, going from 12 years to 1 year, he must’ve paid his lawyer a pretty penny. It sounds like you’ve no idea how the law works against you.
It sounds like you’ve no idea that I made a pun to his song “Tunnel Vision”.
Lawyer even got his probation rescinded so that he flats come October. That’s kind of impressive.
free kodak
Good the game doesn’t need anymore trash?
It should have been Life in Prison
One less wack artist out here making trash. This idiot can’t seem to stay out. So fuhk it.. let him learn. Enough of these mentally challenged “rappers”. Let them get rid of themselves. Can’t blame anyone else. Lol. Do it to yourself hahaha.
that’s it??? they shoulda threw him under the jail for tryna rap.
That’ll give him some time to think. It could make it worse. His activity is making him a target. Its good to feel free and expresses that freedom as a young Black male but, understand that you’re always being watched. If you’re going to do things be smart. If your blessed enough to have a million dollar record deal you need to leave some of your past actions behind. Focus on your career leave the drugs and alcohol alone and improve your craft.
A dumb fuck that too fucking stupid to see how blessed and fortunate he is. Nothing to see here….
Jesus, just look at this fucking retard…
