Kodak Black‘s attorney has been getting just as much press as his celebrity client as of late — and this time, he’s back in the news because of his opinion on Hunter Biden, President Joe Biden‘s son.
On Tuesday (June 20), Hunter Biden agreed to plead guilty to two federal counts of failing to file his taxes, a misdemeanor. According to NBC News, the president’s son — who has a notoriously troubled history — also has a felony gun possession charge that will “go away” if he meets certain conditions. Hunter Biden is expected to serve no jail time for the charges.

This news did not sit well with Bradford Cohen, who took to his Instagram page on Tuesday (June 20) to point out that Kodak Black got tossed in jail for three years for the weapons charge — and Cohen suggested that the result would have been different if Kodak Black was either white and/or politically connected.
“2 tiers of justice? Kodak was charged for the same crime. Got over 3 years,” he wrote. “Mr. Biden will not serve a day. Feels right? Do FBI agents and federal authorities take cases personally? I’m going to discuss this on my subscriber page.”
Check out his post below.
Kodak Black was behind bars for nearly two years after being arrested in May 2019 for allegedly falsifying documents when purchasing firearms. His 46-month sentence was cut short when Trump came to the rescue and pardoned him in January 2021 after promising to donate $1 million to charity. He’s since deleted the tweet. Kodak also received vocal support from many friends including Baltimore Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson.
Prior to commenting on the latest Hunter Biden controversy, Cohen had a lot to say about the YNW Melly trial — and he shared his opinions last week.
According to Cohen, the prosecution in YNW Melly’s case has an uphill battle on their hands to prove that the Florida rapper is, indeed, guilty of double homicide.

“Day 2 is coming up on the YNW Melly case,” he began. “The first few days of trial are not that interesting in regards to a story or the real meat of the case… This case is going to be very technical with phones and date etc.
“But again, they can’t say someone else didn’t get in the car or someone else did the shooting. I think the case has built in reasonable doubt, and I saw a lot of the discovery while I was on the case. Like i said, this will be a tough case for the prosecution.”
