Kid Cudi & Kanye West Reveal “Kids See Ghosts” Cover Art By Takashi Murakami

Now that G.O.O.D. Music is in full swing with its releases this year, hype is building up for the next scheduled album: Kids See Ghosts from Kanye West and Kid Cudi. Early Wednesday morning (June 6), Cudi revealed the cover art for the album, which was done by Takashi Murakami. Both Kanye and Takashi also shared the news on their respective profiles.

The day earlier, Kid Cudi’s manager tweeted there will be a listening event for the album in Los Angeles with more details to come.

After Kids See Ghosts, Nas and Teyana Taylor will be the remaining artists to drop their Kanye West-produced albums.

Check out the cover art and an earlier inspiration for the cover below. Kanye had previously shared a tentative tracklist for the project, but track four, “Ghost Town,” seems to have ended up on the Ye album.

    1. Feel The Love
    2. Kids See Ghosts
    3. 4th Dimension
    4. Ghost Town
    5. Cups Montage
    6. Duels Watchin
    7. ReBorn

Check out DX’s video about the art too.

    1. Good music take over! If drake let his artist shine instead of having them write for him then ovo might be worth something but after the story of addidon nothing was the same…..drake, take care…..of your son:0)

    2. My prediction for the album:
      1. A lot of long pauses
      2. a lot of hums
      3. A lot of instrumentals
      4. Lyrically weak/soft… more spoken word than rap
      5. very “cosmic”… see satellite flight by Cudi
      6. A song with minimal words and a lot of instrumentals

      You heard it here first!
      Prove me wrong Cudi/Kanye… please!

        1. It would be ok…i want something refreshing and new! I know they both suffer from mental health, but i hope they dont focus too much on the struggles. Give me Man on the Moon meets College Drop out with some 808 and Heartbreak!

          Fingers crossed!

    3. Honestly when you compare G.O.O.D to OVO there is no comparison
I cant even think of one person besides Aubrey on that label
OVO is a trash label for real

    4. Cudi is the most underrated – been waiting on this the most – hope YE doesnt fumble not on this !!

    5. Drakes son be sitting at home on Saturday morning mad af holding his baseball glove cus Drake never picked him up to play catch

    6. Didnt know that japanese Sh*t was part of black Culture. Its funny how people in Hip Hop always whine about culture Vutlures and Culture appropriation but do it all the time themselve.

      1. Do you even know what cultural appropriation means? I swear non-blacks always reaching while basking in our culture. Anyway this was created by an Asian man and sold to Kanye. Totally different then if Kanye did the artwork himself and tried to push it off as authentic Japanese artwork. Sort of like what Eminem and Post Malone etc. do all the time.

      2. An Asian guy made it you stupid pink fuck. He’s literally in the picture….So how can it be appropriation? lmao

        1. There are and were black people everywhere in the world. Google ancient black Japanese and stop being an idiot!

      1. Then prepared to be pissed. Personally, I like the short format considering one album is dropping each week.
