Kendrick Lamar’s “HUMBLE.” Is 2nd Most Streamed Song Of 2017

    Nearly six months after the release of DAMN., Kendrick Lamar’s fourth studio album, “HUMBLE.” is currently the second most streamed song of the year, according to Hits Daily Double. The number of YTD (year-to-date) audio streams for the DAMN. single stands at 465,231,000.

    The top spot on the chart went to Puerto Rican singers Luis Fonsi and Daddy Yankee’s “Despacito.”

    “DNA.” (#15), “LOVE.” (#27), “LOYALTY.” (#39) and “ELEMENT.” (#48) are also featured on Hits Daily Double’s YTD Top 50 Audio Streams chart. With five songs on the list, the Compton MC is also the artist with the most singles on that particular chart.

    The news was shared on social media by the official Twitter account for Top Dawg Entertainment (TDE), K. Dot’s label.

    With the nearing of the fourth quarter, Hits Daily Double released both its YTD Top 50 Audio Streams and YTD Top 50 SPS Albums charts late last month.

    DAMN. finds K. Dot at the top of the YTD Top 50 SPS Albums chart with a YTD SPS (sales plus streaming) of 2,229,523. Drake, Ed Sheeran, Bruno Mars, and The Weeknd albums round out the Top 5.

      1. Despacito is number 1???? Yeah I’m hating. It’s like that one pop song that is annoying af and keeps getting play. I mean shout out to Daddy Yankee and Luis Fonsi for the hit, but it just seems so corny. Especially the part that goes like “I just want to hear you say…” so forced and Bieber was an embarrassment to the culture mocking the song and not knowing his lyrics. Just proves that some artists aren’t authentic and labels just mix them up for star power…..
