Hours before Kendrick Lamar’s highly anticipated album, DAMN., was supposed to drop, the entire 14-track project leaked all over the internet. While it’s unclear where the leak originated, some people are blaming Target for the blunder and suggesting someone had hacked LeBron James’ email since he was privy to the project early.
Of course, social media users have responded with a mixed bag of emotions that range from excitement and disappointment to claims that people aren’t “real” fans if they listen to the leak. Some are even showing enough restraint to wait until it’s “officially” out.

Ironically, people have been begging K-Dot to leak the project ahead of its scheduled release. One user even essentially dared him to do it. In a true case of “ask and you shall receive,” people all over the world are currently able to bump tracks like “Royalty” with Rihanna and the collaboration with U2, “XXX,” which one user says is the “hardest song on the album.”
As expected, people are also claiming it’s the “craziest” Kendrick album ever, nothing but “fire” and, naturally, “album of the year.” Scroll down to read some of Twitter’s reactions.
This album Ian dissapointing. It sounds radio. It’s hardest track isneither humble, DNA, or the song with U2. And none of those are amazing. Just good.

I actually like this album better than the last one. A lot more rap than some half-ass singing. The leak though has some quality issues so I will definitely by the physical album. BLOOD- intro of people talking their whining about Kendrick lyrics reminiscent of Pac’s To Live and Die in L.A…….DNA- fire song of straight rap with dope beat change…………..YAH- singing but beat is hot like mid-90s…………ELEMENT-rap but kind of all over the place, seems more like a freestyle……FEEL-song takes about a minute to kick in but straight fire after that minute……….LOYALTY- some rap/some singing by both Kendrick and Rihanna. Overrated, boring song………PRIDE- seems like a leftover from last album, slow rap and boring………..HUMBLE- West Coast fire, you know the deal………………LUST- another song all over the place, I want to hear a better quality version……..LOVE- doesn’t really fit on this album, I predict this being a radio friendly hit with Zacari sounding like Weeknd……..XXX- the 2nd part of the song is doper than beginning part, cool song overall………FEAR- dope song and very West Coast sounding, almost 7 minutes long and worth every second………GOD- ok, but sounds like someone else like Fetty Wap or some shit………DUCKWORTH- Dope! This has to be the Alchemist track, way to finish the album……….

oh wow. you wanna know something? this is exactly my same thought about the album. i’m sorry guys, this is not a great album. i listened to it twice. i tried to like and love but it’s very hard to love. first of, the production is too off kilter, that i couldn’t comprehend the lyrics on the album. the lyrics are okay but that’s the problem i have with the whole album. it’s okay. okay and kendrick doesn’t go together well and troubles me.i agree. fear, DNA, YAH, and HUMBLE are the best on the CD but compared to any track on To Pimp A Butterfly, it’s nowhere as good. the album is very unfocused. it’s like he just slapped the songs on the Cd and relied on the theme to carry it. that’s not good to me. his flow and delivery on most track are okay but very lazy on a lot of the tracks. like he’s tired while he’s rapping. the beats do not knock if you guys are looking for that. in fact, the beats are very soft. one song borders on R&B (and i am not talking about the one with Rihanna, which is surprisingly not R&B like) very disappointing album. it’s like on some songs, the bars are there but it doesn’t sound right due to him rapping on these beats. this album is gonna be forgotten. trust me

I listen to the real version and the album is a beautiful masterpiece from beginning to end I wish it was a lil bit longer but for the most part I loved it I’m glad I got google play and listen to it and didn’t fuck with some leaked shit haha to those that didn’t wait patiently
