Jas Prince Suggests Possibility Of Meek Mill & Drake Reconciliation

Jas Prince recently sat down and spoke with DJ Vlad about the ongoing Meek Mill and Drake ghostwriting debacle. In the interview, he says he thinks that peace between the two is a considerable possibility with the assistance of his dad, James Prince, CEO of Houston-based record label Rap-A-Lot.

“It’s just different meetings that we would have to have with each one of them to see if that’s something that they want to do and if they agree to do that, then we can most definitely make it happen,” he says. “Now after that meeting, it’s up to them but once we sit there and lay it out it’s in the air.”

The feud between Drake and Meek, which originally began with the Philly rapper exposing Drake over using a ghostwriter for his verse on the Dreams Worth More Than Money cut, “R.I.C.O.,” has now escalated to involve a full-out feud with New York radio station Hot 97 and the need for DJ Drama to clear his name of the ongoing drama (no pun intended).

When asked if that’s something he sees happening in the foreseeable future, Jas says he simply doesn’t know and calls the feud “petty.”

“Let’s make these records, let’s all get this money and let’s have fun.” Jas suggests. “Let’s all go on a big ass tour. Goddamn Chris [Brown], Meek and Drake.”

Prince recently squashed a beef of his own and reached a settlement in his $11 million lawsuit with Cash Money over royalties for his work with Drizzy.

    1. It would be nice to see reconciliation between the two, but I would be surprised if it did. Meek came out with the accusations of ghost writing, fakeness and everything thats been going on with the Drake situation. Everyone turned it away. Then the ghost writer himself came out and admitted it, people started talking a bit. Then the whole situation between Quentin Miller and Drake came up, people started talking about it more. In recent weeks more and more stuff has been revealed about Drake that was called out from the beginning. Now especially that Funkmaster Flex came out and told everyone that OVO sent him reference tracks from Drake, its shows that there was basis to the argument Meek was making. Now people are opening their eyes and reading the fine print. There’s a reason Drakes been getting annihilated by Joe Budden these past few weeks and thats because he came up with a SINGLE garbage response that was shat on by everybody, because his ghost writers weren’t available and he had to act. So I would really be surprised that there would be reconciliation due to the giant “I told you so” from Meek to everybody

      1. Reply to lyricaltruths I agree with everything u said but drake and his ghost writers know they ain’t fucking with Budden cos that’s a lyrical god right there unless Eminem was writing for him he ain’t touching Joey. And don’t pay any attention that nigga over there he has no basis for his argument just on hhdx being a dick
