Jack Harlow has found himself caught up in a love triangle in the latest Doritos commercial.
In a brief teaser for an upcoming Super Bowl spot released on Thursday (January 12), Harlow enters the back of a limousine as paparazzi attempt to track him down all while snapping plenty of photos.
As he pulls out a bag of Doritos and donning a massive ring, Harlow is asked through the window of the vehicle: “Is it true about the love triangle?”
Answering with a short but cool response, Harlow says:” Maybe.”
“A baby? You’re having a baby?” the photographer yells, after confusing Harlow’s answer.
The crowd cheers enthusiastically, thinking Harlow has a baby on the way as he goes back to munching on his Doritos and winds up the window.
The entire Doritos commercial will air on February 12 during Super Bowl LVII, which will be held at State Farm Stadium in Glendale, Arizona.
As far as his love life is concerned, Harlow was recently linked to Dua Lipa.
In early December, Missionary Jack met Dua Lipa in person at the Variety Hitmakers event in Los Angeles and the two have been getting acquainted ever since.
“I hit her up and wanted to get her blessing,” Harlow said. “I played it over FaceTime. I wanted to be respectful and her not be blindsided by it. She was so confused. She was like, ‘What the hell?’ It was clearly a first but she gave me her blessing. She said it was totally fine with her. She was very sweet.”
While 2022 was a banner year for the Louisville rapper, in 2023, he’s planning to pick up where he left off. In November, he announced that was returning to Las Vegas for a residency at Zouk Nightclub for two performances. The shows are set for March 18 and May 27, coinciding with Memorial Day Weekend.
“I had a great time performing at Zouk in 2022. The energy was electric and I’m looking forward to returning to Vegas to headline in 2023,” Harlow said in a press release. “See y’all there!”
“Jack Harlow has continued to dominate the charts and we are thrilled to have him within the Zouk Group family as we head into 2023,” added Ronn Nicolli, vice president of Zouk Group Las Vegas. “We’ve curated an unparalleled roster of headlining talent and we look forward to continuing to provide an epic experience for guests.”
At the upcoming 2023 Grammy Awards, Harlow has earned three nominations, with “First Class” up for Best Melodic Rap Performance, “Churchill Downs” featuring Drake is nominated for Best Rap Song, and Come Home The Kids Miss You is up for Best Rap Album.
Also in November, Harlow spoke about his status in the game in an interview for the 25th annual edition of British GQ‘s Men of the Year.
“I don’t feel like I’m a darling in the journalism space,” he said. “I feel like everyone in journalism is so sophisticated right now, or journalism is so sophisticated. I’m not a niche artist. I’m out here killing shit. And I’m a white artist in a Black genre. Journalists can never show me too much love.”
On the big screen, Harlow is set to star in the highly-anticipated reboot of White Men Can’t Jump.
