J. Cole’s star-studded recording sessions for Revenge Of The Dreamers III have come to an end. The Dreamville Records founder announced their conclusion on Wednesday night (January 16).
“The Revengers sessions are done thank you to every artist and producer that came through,” he wrote on Twitter. “I love y’all, that shit was beautiful. Next step, finish the songs and let the [world] feel em.”
Cole and his Dreamville team’s sessions lasted just 10 days yet attracted some of Hip Hop’s top MCs and producers. Rick Ross, T.I., Big K.R.I.T., Westside Gunn, Ski Mask The Slump God, Wale, Tay Keith, Kenny Beats and S1 were among the notable artists to participate.
No release date for Revenge Of The Dreamers III has been announced. The highly anticipated album will be the label’s first compilation since 2015’s Revenge Of The Dreamers II.

J. Cole is assembling a roster of his Dreamville artists, producers and some special guests to record a new compilation. The 2018 HipHopDX Rapper of the Year sent out a notice for a variety of contributors to come to Atlanta to create the Revenge of the Dreamers III album over a 10-day span.
Cole unveiled a version of the invite sent to artists on Sunday night (January 6) via social media. Dreamville Records President Ibrahim “Ib” Hamad elaborated on the ambitious plan via Twitter that same night.
“We got 10 days to try and make this Revenge of the Dreamers III album,” he wrote. “Think we can do it?”
Hamad updated fans on the album’s progress on Monday (January 7).
“Shout out to everyone that pulled up to Day one of these Revenge of the Dreamers 3 sessions, shit felt special,” he wrote. “Day two, let’s get it.”
The entire Dreamville roster shared versions of the Cole invite with their respective names listed at the top. Artists outside the label such as Rapper Big Pooh, K Camp and Top Dawg Entertainment’s REASON also revealed they received invitations.

Why is hip hop music? I run up and get clap by boogie man. I tried to listen to B Cardi, but boogie man pulled out the Mac Milly on me. Darn Daniel! This song is top rap anthem of all time. Even better than Illmatic.
Ya dig?
Why insult salt? Stop talking smack about salt, ok? I was raised by salt and when I had nothing, there was always salt in my tea.
Ya dig? So leave Cole, J., alone, because he and Drudgeville Crew run up and clap you with A Mili.
Dig?
Fuck this pussy woke rap shit. You mothersuckers are programmed sheep staying in ghettos and piss poor while your checks go to supporting the third world. Release your mind from mental slavery and walk away.
With this much talent behind the boards, there should be zero and I mean ZERO trap beats. KOD was a gimmicky album. Let’s see you drop all that trap BS and give the kids a classic.
