J. Cole made a special guest appearance at 21 Savage’s Birthday Bash show in Atlanta this weekend where he performed five minutes of fan favorites.
On Saturday (June 17), 21 took the stage at State Farm Arena for the Hot 107.9 concert which marketed “21 Savage and Friends” as its headlining act, leaving fans to guess who else might make an appearance at the event.

Judging by the crowd’s loud reaction, they seemed thrilled when the I Am > I Was hit “a lot” came on and J. Cole walked out onto the stage. “Just came to the A,” he said before rapping his verse on the track. “Pulled up on my n-gga, 21 Savage.”
“Atlanta, make some muthafuckin’ noise for J. Cole,” Savage said as the Fayetteville rapper began walking off after his performance of their 2018 collaboration. “Hold on, don’t go nowhere. I need you to do a couple more for me, bro.”

The Dreamville boss proceeded to give the audience two more hits: his feature on Lil Durk’s “All My Life” followed by the 2014 Forest Hills Drive classic, “No Role Modelz.” By playing one of his most popular features, one of his career-defining hits and his most recent release, he was able to give the crowd a holistic J. Cole experience.

GloRilla, NLE Choppa and Finesse2tymes were the other major artists featured on the card for the celebration branded as a “Salute to 50 Years of Hip Hop.” Additionally, the event showcased the talents of Jacquees, Baby Drill, Gloss Up, Lola Brooke, Moone Walker and Superstar Pride.
As for Cole, he is now officially a part-owner of the Charlotte Hornets after Michael Jordan sold his majority stake in the team. According to a statement released by the Hornets on Friday (June 16), the North Carolina native is part of The Buyer Group led by Gabe Plotkin and Rick Schnall alongside country singer Eric Church.
Following the immense success of their collaborative album, Drake and 21 Savage recently added 12 new dates to their joint It’s All A Blur Tour. The massive trek, which now boasts 54 dates, includes new shows in cities such as Toronto, Brooklyn, Inglewood, Memphis, Milwaukee, Glendale and Denver. The tour is set to commence on June 29 in Memphis, Tennessee.
The roadshow comes in support of Drake and 21 Savage’s joint album Her Loss, which arrived in November complete with cameos from Travis Scott, Birdman, Lil Yachty and more.
