Grand Hustle/Atlantic Records artist Bobby Ray, better known as B.o.B. [click to read] has announced plans to embark on his own US tour. Hailing from the ATL, the young rapper will join group Shawayze on their “Get You Home” tour which will run from Sept. 23 at the Chicago House of Blues to the middle of October. This will be the second jaunt B.o.B. will be a part of since touring aside Kid Cudi and Asher Roth in this past summer’s “Great Hangover” tour.

Appearing on XXL‘s “10 Freshmen of 2009” issue alongside Charles Hamilton, Wale, Ace Hood, and others, B.o.B’s appeal stems from his unique ATL style, different from what is commercially expected from southern music.
“I just want to show people that there are endless possibilities of what you can do,” he said in a statement. “You don’t have to be a rapper, you don’t just have to be a trapper; you can be anything you want to be and whatever you do, just love it and it will show.”
