With a successful launch last month in Los Angeles [click here] that gave up-and-coming artists a chance to receive professional feedback on their music, Urban Network plans to host “Be Seen and Be Heard” in New York on June 27.
Warren Griffin Jr., Director of Creative Affairs for the Urban Network Group Inc., explained that the New York venture was made based on the strong desire from aspiring artists who wanted their music heard. “Expanding to other regions was always in my plans, however it was planned for a later quarter, but the demand required that I adjust and adjust I have.”
As A&R for Notting Hill Music Publishing and a panelist in the first “Be Seen and Be Heard” event in Los Angeles, Future described the experience as, “A very straight-to-the-point, trimming the fat type of event that allows creative individuals to get the inside scoop on what executives are really thinking about their music.”
Panelists expected to participate in the New York session include Tony G, A&R of G-Unit Records, A&R Consultant Conrad Dimanche, and Riggs Morales, Senior Director of A&R for Shady Records. Artists interested in more information for this event can [click here].
