Jay Faires, founder of JCOR records, has acquired the entire Wild Pitch catalogue and will begin re-releasing it on March 20. The first two releases will be Chill Rob G’s Ride the Rhythm, and The Coup’s Genocide and Juice.
JCOR will digitally remaster other titles before setting them loose on the market later in the year.
The catalogue will include albums and singles, as well as videos. Some huge Wild Pitch names include Ultramagnetic M.C.s (you kids know Kool Keith), Main Source and some of Gang Starr’s early work.
