In an episode of South Park that aired on April 8, the controversial cartoon poked fun of one of Hip Hop’s most talked about rappers.

Centered around a joke about “fish sticks,” the episode featured an overly-arrogant Kanye West and his colorful crew, inspired by Paris photographs.

The episode begins with character Jimmy creating what becomes an extremely popular joke. The joke goes as follows: “Do you like fish sticks?,” “You like to put fish sticks in your mouth?” When the person replies with yes to both, the joke ends with “What are you a gay fish?

Kanye goes on the defensive when he is the only one who doesn’t find the “fish stick” joke to be very entertaining. He eventually seeks revenge on whoever is behind the joke.

West ultimately gets his revenge, but instead of finding Cartman and Jimmy, the actual culprits he takes his revenge out on comedian Carlos Mencia, who has been taking credit for the joke.

At the end of the episode Kanye realizes that he is in fact a gay fish and breaks into an underwater, Auto-Tune friendly song, parodying “Heartless” [click to view].
