He’s done albums with Mos Def and DJ Hi-Tek, but is finally set to go it alone on his debut album. “Quality Control” is set to drop sometime in August on Rawkus Records and will feature appearances from the likes of Common, Black Thought, Bilal and Pharoahe Monch. Surprisingly, there is no production from fellow Reflection Eternal member, DJ Hi-Tek, who is currently working on the second series of his “Hi-Teknology” series.
Prior to the albums’ release, Kweli will tour with Blackalicious and KRS-One for a month, starting this Thursday in order to promote his solo debut release
