If Kanye West thought his new hairdo wouldn’t catch a few haters, he must have forgotten about 50 Cent [click to read]. Speaking with MTV, the G-Unit leader gave his take on Ye’s mullet, as well as a secret woman that Mr. West allegedly knows intimately.
Since their album sales battle in 2007 [click to read], 50 Cent has been critical of nearly all of Kanye’s actions, with his new mullet being an easy target. “I wouldn’t wear that thing on the back of my head, the shag joint. It’s different. It’s something you would see maybe in the Village,”50 joked.
While Ye’ has made claims of being inspired by gays in his dress style, 50 Cent is confident the self-proclaimed “Louis Vuitton Don” is not gay himself. “I actually don’t believe Kanye West is gay. He might be sensitive. Trying—try-sexual. But I know he’s not gay.”
Continuing, 50 explained, “Tony knows a girl that knows Kanye. So I know that if he was gay, he wouldn’t know the young lady we’re talking about. She’s one of those video vixens.”

Prior to 50’s comments, Kanye addressed the issue of homophobia in Hip Hop, when MTV’s Sway Calloway asked him about the reaction to pictures of him with friends at Fashion Week in Paris.
“It’s like when people say, ‘Gimme a natural pose,’”Kanye explained. “You can’t pose natural. If you’re posing, you’re not natural no more. So it’s statements that people say, like ‘dressing gay.’ Your dress don’t give away whether you like a man or not. Think about actors that straight dress up like a woman or something like that. People wanna label me and throw that on me all the time. But I’m so secure with my manhood, and that’s the reason I can go to Paris. I can have conversations with people who are blatantly gay because I used to be scared to talk to a gay person.”
