When you thought you heard just about everything that rap artists are being sued for these days, we were proved wrong. Mystikal is being sued over copyright infringement and damages by a toy manufacturer. Steve Winn, the inventor of the Cajun in Your Pocket product, is suing Mystikal for $1.25 Million for using phrases from the toy in his single, “Shake Ya Ass”.
Winn believes that some phrases that were used in the lyrics of Mystikal’s hit single were taken straight from his toy, thus the reason for the $1.25 Million lawsuit. Winn also believes that the fact that the track is of a ‘sexual’ nature will harm his product. Any toy saying the phrase
