Despite being equally loved and hated within the Hip Hop community, Wendy Williams is moving up. The self-proclaimed “Queen of All Media” will have her Fox TV show nationally syndicated later this year. Fox initially ordered 30 episodes of the show for a trial run in New York, Dallas and Detroit to see how many viewers Williams could bring in.
Variety reports Williams has boosted Fox‘s viewership among women between the ages of 25 and 54 by 80% since her show debuted on July 15. During the same time span, ratings among women from ages 18-34 has risen by 200%. Much like her syndicated radio show, Williams‘ televised version features commentary, celebrity gossip, interview and entertainment news. The show is executive produced by Rob Dauber, who performs the same duties on The Oprah Winfrey Show and the now defunct Rosie O’Donnell Show.
