Even when doing something productive for his community, Rick Ross still can’t seem to find himself out of the spotlight of controversy. During the second annual Rick Ross Be Out Day yesterday, Rick and his Poe Boy affiliates were on site as gunshots rang out, though it is still unknown as to what caused the dispute and subsequent bullets to be fired off.

The event, which was put on by Rick Ross Charities, Inc., provided kids with back to school supplies and also offered families affordable health insurance through the organization The Children’s Trust.

Along with these benefits, food, drinks and fun were also part of the festivities that took place at Carol City Park in Florida. Over 2,000 people were in attendance of this community event, and the day looked to be a success as the Rick Ross Charities, Inc. Scholarship was handed out and the stage was being prepped for a performance from the “The Boss,” accompanied by Flo Rida and Brisco.

However, this was abruptly interrupted by gunshots fired near the area that sent many innocent attendees running from the vicinity. No one was physically harmed.
