Bubba Sparxxx recently stated Emeinem’s move into the mainstream helped him become a respected rapper. Bubba went on to say before Eminem, white rappers weren’t considered cool.
Bubba stated “(Eminem) restored my credibility. Because before him the last white MC was Vanilla Ice, and Vanilla Ice was a disaster. It was an uphill battle for us white rappers after that. And for Eminem to have broken through, he gave credibility back to the institution of white people being involved in hip-hop, period.”
