9m88 Premieres Music Video For 'Star’—Watch

Taiwanese singer-songwriter 9m88 returns with the music video for “Star” off her most recent album, 9m88 radio. This is the third track from the album that has had an accompanying music video release, following “Whatchu Gonna…?” and “Love Is So Cruel.”

The mixed-language album is a culmination of two years’ worth of work from the artist. In an exclusive interview with HipHopDX Asia, she shared how the record is a deep dive into her psyche during the pandemic.

9m88 announced the release of the music video yesterday (September 11) with a short description of what the concept of the visual would be, saying “Through a soft gaze of an inner child, a timeless conversation between self in 2019 & 2022 was held […] ‘Star’ Music Video out 9/12!” The artist has also recently joined fellow Taiwanese musicians, Sunset Rollercoaster, on their world tour.
