As Westside Gunn gets ready to drop off his first project of 2022 on Friday (July 8), the Griselda co-founder has shared the album’s tracklist, and it features some impressive credits.
Peace “Fly” God features appearances from Westside’s signee Stove God Cook$ and Massachusetts rapper Estee Nack. The 10-track project features production from Madlib and Daringer, as well as Conductor Williams and Don Carrera. Described as an “art piece,” Westside claimed that Peace “Fly” God was recorded in a mere two days and serves as a teaser for his forthcoming Michelle Records project.
“I’m back in the states and the homies pulled right up on me, now the tape is complete!!!!!” he wrote. “Idgaf about the mix or the master I wanna keep that shit grimey af, so I’m dropping this Fri fuck it. this not the Album this a ART piece before MICHELLE RECORDS … and ain’t shit fuckin wit it… made in 48hrs #FLYGOD #ART #PEACEFLYGOD #GXFR #CULTURE #CURATION #ICON.”

The new mixtape comes after Westside Gunn dropped off his beefy double-disc Hitler Wears Hermes 8 project in 2021. He began with the Sincerely Adolf side, which featured appearances from Lil Wayne, Jadakiss and Mach-Hommy among others. Side B dropped in September, and featured even more appearances from Jay Electronica, 2 Chainz, Larry June and others.
