A service celebrating the life of Trouble was held in Georgia on Monday morning (June 13). A few individuals close to the late rhymer spoke at the funeral service and Boosie Badazz delivered a teary-eyed tribute dedicated to his fallen friend.

An emotional Boosie grabbed the mic with a black pair of sunglasses covering his eyes and lamented over the fact he never had the chance to thank Trouble for all he’s done for him before saying goodbye.

“I ain’t get to tell my boy thank you,” he began. “So I want to tell Trouble thank you. He always supported me, you know. That’s my n-gga and I’m hurting for y’all because I’m hurting for five years. I wasn’t with him 30 years. I just want to tell that n-gga thank you. That was my boy. I just want to tell him thank you.”

Boosie also made an appearance at the candlelight vigil held for Trouble last week to pay his respects to the Atlanta native. The two collaborated on tracks such as 2019’s “Ain’t My Fault.”

Big Trouble was reportedly asleep in a woman’s bed when her ex-boyfriend broke into her apartment and shot him in the chest around 3 a.m. ET on June 5. The bullets proved to be fatal and Jamichael Jones turned himself in on June 7.
