New York, NY

Playoff hockey in New York City brings out the stars and Bobby Shmurda was in the building to take in Game 1 of the Eastern Conference Finals on Wednesday night (June 1) with the Rangers throttling the Tampa Bay Lightning.

Bobby had no issues getting up to speed with the hockey culture and really enjoyed himself whenever the Rangers put a puck in the net, which was a lot throughout their 6-2 dominating victory at Madison Square Garden.

The Brooklyn native posted a clip celebrating one of the six goals while dancing around, waving his towel and even taunting a Tampa Bay fan seated behind him.

Shgooo Rangers!!! Goal,” he captioned the clip on his Instagram Wednesday night.

Fans loved Bobby’s uplifting energy and filled the comment section applauding him for truly enjoying his new lease on life after being released from prison in early 2021.

“I love how you’re living life and enjoying it,” one person wrote while another added, “This what you call living and moving forward.”
