Kanye West and Kim Kardashian’s failed marriage has been internet fodder since the SKIMS founder filed for divorce in February 2021. The ensuing months saw Kanye’s behavior grow more erratic as he seemingly struggled with the dissolution of their relationship.
The social media attacks also became more frequent when Ye learned Kardashian was dating former Saturday Night Live actor Pete Davidson, and he was eventually suspended from Instagram for “bullying.” But that wasn’t the first time Kanye lashed out at Kardashian or her famous family. Last year, he referred to matriarch Kris Jenner as a “white supremacist” and nicknamed her “Kris Jong Un.”
In the latest episode of Hulu’s The Kardashians, Kanye’s ex-wife apologized to her family for the way he treated them and vowed she would never let that happen again. The apology was prompted after Jenner received a text about Kanye’s single “Eazy” inching toward release.
“Kanye’s coming out with a new rap song,” Kardashian says in the clip posted by TMZ. “That means he’s talking mad shit about me and probably saying, whatever.”
Kardashian later tells the camera, “I do recognize the impact that my relationship has had on my family, and that I’ve never had the opportunity to just say, ‘I’m sorry guys.'”
Kardashian’s comments seem to echo those of Caitlyn Jenner who recently sat down with The Pivot Kanye West. to discuss several topics, including the difference between Kardashian’s relationship with Davidson and
“Pete is … they came over the other day because I told Kim, ‘Kim, I haven’t even met him yet,’ so she brought him over and spent a couple hours here in the house together,” Jenner said. “And very different from what she would normally date, but Kimberly has been though a lot with the guys she’s been with, especially Kanye, a very complicated guy.
“I really liked Kanye. I got along with him so well. Two of us did great together. Even when I transitioned, he was so on my side, lovin’ it. But he was very difficult to live with. And Pete is 180 degrees the other direction. First of all, he treats her so well. And when they were over here, Kim is so happy — and Kim deserves to be happy.”
