Enter 6ix9ine‘s newest challenger: 42 Dugg. The Detroit native became embroiled in a heated exchange with the rainbow-haired rapper on Wednesday (April 27) after speaking out against him “ambushing” Lil Durk‘s lookalike.

A video posted on Instagram earlier this week saw 6ix9ine taunting the Chicago rap star by running up on his viral doppelgänger — known as Perkio — and making him wear a jacket adorned with an image of Durk’s late OTF associate, King Von.

42 Dugg — a friend and collaborator of Lil Durk’s — wasn’t impressed with 6ix9ine’s antics. Taking to his Instagram Stories on Wednesday, the CMG signee subliminally slammed Tekashi for involving an innocent individual while hurling a barrage of insults his way.

“Y’all can never expect Ah non street person to understand the streets these n-ggas blowing down on kids tryna ruin kids life knowing Ah real N-gga Ah spit on you bitch n-ggas.”

6ix9ine responded in a lengthy Instagram Live video filmed during a pit stop at a gas station. The “GUMMO” rapper threatened to “smack the shit” out of 42 Dugg — only if their altercation doesn’t make it onto the police’s radar, thus violating his probation.

42 Dugg — who is currently serving three years’ probation stemming from a 2020 illegal gun possession charge — seemed to back away from the exchange when he responded with, “I ain’t going back n fourth wit no RAT BITCH” on his Instagram Stories.

However, he later posted a video taunting 6ix9ine while watching the NBA playoffs on his couch with fellow rapper YNT Tae Money. “Aye Tekashi, bring that hoe over here,” he said with a laugh. “We trying to run her.”

42 Dugg posted another Instagram Story jabbing 6ix9ine for cooperating with authorities and testifying against fellow Nine Trey gang members in his 2018 racketeering case. “I’m playing man I ain’t got nothing against the FBI Or nobody that helped them ion condone violence,” he wrote.

42 Dugg then announced he’d travel to Miami on Thursday (April 28) to meet 6ix9ine for the fight, demanding $500,000 for the match-up.

“Look, man. I wanna fight for a half a million, man. Cash,” he said in a video posted to his Instagram Stories. “We’ll come to Miami tomorrow. Let’s fight for half a million. Y’all don’t wanna talk, don’t bring the federal government.”

As for the video that ignited the exchange, Perkio — who has built a relationship with Lil Durk — accused 6ix9ine of “ambushing” him and denied he wanted anything do the video or King Von jacket. He claimed he was only supposed to do a collaboration with YouTube personality Steve Will Do It, who also appeared in the video.

However, 6ix9ine and Steve Will Do It both contested Perkio’s story. The Brooklyn rapper posted screenshots of a text message exchange arranging the meet-up and later claimed Fake Durk accepted $7,000 to star in the clip.
