Has anybody noticed how Ja Rule and Irv Gotti seem to be raiding Bad Boy’s greatest hits lately? At the same time as Ja Rule jacked Craig Mack’s “Flava In Ya Ear” for the remix of J-Lo’s “Aint It Funny”, Irv has now lifted B.I.G.’s “One More Chance” for Ashanti’s soon to be “pop” smash “Foolish.” At this rate, how long will it be before Irv Gotti or Ja Rule revamp Black Rob’s “Whoa”, or Diddy’s “It’s All About The Benjamins”? I feel that they kinda deserve it seeing how puffy stole a million beats in the early 90’s.
On the topic of Bad Boy, check G-Dep’s “Special Delivery” remix f/Ghostface, Keith Murray and Craig Mack. It’s doing better in the charts then expected for a lackluster year for Bad Boy.
