2022 HipHopDX Rising Star Coi Leray is gearing up to have another breakout year with her forthcoming debut album. The New Jersey native has already collaborated with several big-name artists such as Lil Durk, Kodak Black, DaBaby, 42 Dugg and more, and it looks like she’s aiming high once again on the features list for her proper debut.

On Saturday (February 12), Coi Leray took to her Twitter after a fan had made a reference to A Boogie wit da Hoodie being undefeated with his emotion-driven melodic bars. According to Coi, Boogie will be tapping into that space on a song with the “No More Parties” rapper, and Mustard produced it.

“Old A boogie is undefeated, I need that anger back,” tweeted the fan, which led Coi to write, “He in his BAGGGGGG on my album sheesh can’t wait till y’all hear this @mustard.”

Coi’s announcement comes weeks after she dropped her latest singles titled “Medicine” and “Anxiety.” The latter record dropped on January 28 and already caught people’s attention, such as SZA and Fivio Foreign, before it was officially released.

The New Jersey native also hinted her debut album would come with 18 new tracks in an Instagram post of her partaking in the social media “Money Challenge” movement. She laid out her money to spell her nickname “Big Trendsetter,” stating that her time was coming.
