While cruising around town in his car on Monday (February 7), underground darling Yeat hopped on an Instagram Live session to preview some new music he has in the work with Gunna.

While it remains unclear when and where the track will pop up, Yeat confirmed on January 26 that his debut album 2 Alivë was completed pending one feature, so fans seem to think the elusive feature was none other than the DS4EVERrapper himself.

“The album done im jus waiting on one more thing, den its up,” Yeat wrote on his Instagram Story on January 26. “I got y’all…we going number one first day it drop.”

The album update came after Yeat’s last project Up 2 Me broke through the Billboard 200, landing at No. 183.

It remains unclear when fans can expect to hear 2 Alivë, but Yeat is also slated to perform at California’s Smokers Club Fest, which takes place on April 30 at the Glen Helen Amphitheater. Headlining performances include Kid Cudi, 2 Chainz, A$AP Rocky, Playboi Carti, ScHoolboy Q and Wiz Khalifa. Other notable acts set to perform include Earl Sweatshirt, Lupe Fiasco, The Alchemist, Curren$y, Danny Brown, Rico Nasty, Jay Rock, Ab-Soul and Wale.
