Cambodian dance crew and hip hop group Polarix premiered the joint music video for their latest singles “Shut Up” featuring VannDa and “Keep It 100” A-GVME. The twin-single video by Polarix members Van Norith, Juvie Lin, and GV Lux is part of their upcoming debut album Ugly Tongue.

The group released the singles individually earlier this year and posted a surprise teaser for the music video days before it premiered. While having released music intermittently in the previous years, these exciting collaborations with fellow Baramey Productions artists also welcome a new chapter for the group’s creative journey.

On their Baramey Productions artist page, the group writes that their goal is to “lift up hip hop dance culture in Cambodia and reach the international stage.” The video showcases their roots as dancers by highlighting hip hop influences like tutting and popping and locking, alongside cuts showing off their rap abilities with their collaborators. Both tracks are powerful declarations of intolerance for toxicity and unwarranted criticism, reinforcing the spirit of “keeping it real” throughout their work.
